General Questions
What ages do you teach?
I teach students of all ages, including children, homeschool students, teenagers, and adults.
Do I need previous piano experience?
No. I welcome complete beginners as well as students who are returning to piano after years away. Lessons are tailored to each student's experience, goals, and musical interests.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are taught by Grace Casey at Grace Music School in Carolina Park, Mount Pleasant, SC. Lessons take place on a Kawai baby grand piano in a professional community music school setting.
Adult & Homeschool Lessons
Do you offer piano lessons during the day?
Yes. I currently have limited weekday daytime availability specifically for adult and homeschool students. My after-school lesson schedule is currently full.
Do you offer flexible lessons for adults with busy schedules?
Yes. Daytime a la carte lessons are available in 4-lesson packages for adults who cannot commit to a weekly lesson schedule. Packages must be used within three months, and lessons are scheduled based on studio availability.

Are homeschool piano lessons available during the school day?
Yes. Weekday daytime lessons can be incorporated into a homeschool schedule and are available for homeschool students of all ages and skill levels.
Lessons & Tuition
How long are piano lessons?
Private lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60-minute lesson lengths. Lesson length is based on the student's age, level, goals, and individual needs.
How much do piano lessons cost?
Monthly tuition is $178 for 30-minute lessons, $266 for 45-minute lessons, and $355 for 60-minute lessons. Tuition is based on 34 lessons from September through May and is prorated for students who begin after September.
Daytime a la carte packages are also available for students who need a more flexible schedule.
What is included in piano lessons?
Lessons incorporate repertoire, music theory, sight-reading, ear training, technique, musicianship, and performance preparation. Instruction is personalized to each student's level and goals.

What happens at a trial lesson?
A trial lesson is an opportunity to meet Grace, experience a piano lesson, discuss your musical goals, and determine whether lessons are a good fit. Trial lessons are $47.
