Daytime Piano Lessons for Adults & Homeschool Students

My after-school lesson schedule is currently full, but I have a limited number of weekday daytime openings for adults and homeschool students.

Whether you have always wanted to learn piano, are returning to the instrument after years away, or are a homeschool family looking to incorporate high-quality music instruction into your school day, I would love to work with you.

Lessons are taught by Grace Casey at Grace Music School in Carolina Park, Mount Pleasant, SC. As the Music Director at Grace Music School, I am proud to offer private piano instruction in a professional community music school setting.

Lessons take place on a Kawai baby grand piano, providing students with an exceptional instrument for developing technique, musicality, and expression.

I am a conservatory-trained pianist and experienced piano teacher with 30+ years of classical training and extensive professional performance experience.

My mission is to provide an exceptional music education in a nurturing and encouraging environment while helping each student realize their potential as a musician and in other areas of life.

I currently serve as the Music Director at Grace Music School and I am a member of the Charleston Music Teachers Association, South Carolina Music Teachers Association, and Music Teachers National Association, and I am a Steinway Educational Partner.

About Grace

Personalized Piano Instruction for Every Student

Piano lessons are tailored to each student's age, level, and individual goals. I work with beginning students, experienced pianists, returning adult students and homeschool students.

Lessons incorporate:

Classical and contemporary repertoire
Music theory, Sight reading, Ear training, Technique and Musicianship
Performance preparation
A personalized curriculum appropriate to each student's level and goals

Piano Lesson Tuition

Private piano lessons are offered in 30, 45, and 60-minute lesson lengths once a week. Tuition is based on 34 lessons from September through May and is prorated for students who begin after September. Summer scheduling is flexible, allowing families to adjust lesson frequency and scheduling to accommodate vacations and other summer activities.

30-minute lessons: $178/month
45-minute lessons: $266/month
60-minute lessons: $355/month

Daytime A La Carte Lessons

A la carte lessons are available for students who are unable to commit to a weekly lesson schedule. They are especially well suited for adult students with busy or changing schedules who would like the flexibility to schedule lessons as their availability allows.

A la carte lessons are sold in 4-lesson packages and must be used within 3 months of purchase. Lessons may be scheduled based on studio availability.

45-minute lessons: $312

A la carte lessons are subject to availability and are not guaranteed to be available on a particular day or time. Packages expire three months from the date of purchase.

Performance Opportunities

Students have opportunities throughout the year to share their accomplishments through studio recitals twice a year at Palmetto Presbyterian Church and other performance experiences such as CMTA Masterclasses and Achievement Day.

Performance opportunities help students develop confidence, preparation skills, and the ability to perform comfortably in front of others.
